Famous Four-Banger: 16k-Mile 2003 Honda S2000 AP1 6-Speed

This is the lowest mileage Honda S2000 we’ve seen in recent memory – it looks to be absolutely factory stock with no modifications and has a clean Carfax. Finished in Suzuka Blue with blue leather interior, the seller says the car is basically perfect, and going by the post and pictures, we have little reason to disagree. One small exception is the front fascia, which was repainted by the previous owner, something the seller says is the only flaw in the car. Nice. The pictures show seemingly pristine paint and a matching body, and the black top does look to be immaculate. All four wheels are said to be absolutely perfect, and, again, by the post and pictures, we agree.

The interior shows like new, without creases or cracks, the leather looking fresh, the plastics and vinyls appearing likewise. Again, this is the lowest mileage example of an S2000 that we’ve come across in recent memory, and it appears to be a perfect, very well-kept specimen. The blue-on-blue color is appealing to us for its unique rarity, and the unmodified nature of the S2000 is immensely attractive since so many of these have fallen victim to boy racers looking to fulfill their Fast & Furious fantasies. We’re fairly certain S2000s won’t continue dropping in value, and while the price isn’t chump change for this one, it’s in the ballpark with other beautifully preserved examples. Interestingly, even high-mileage, modified specimens are relatively expensive, showing the interest for them.
