Sensible Special Edition: 58k Mile 1995 Honda Prelude Special Edition

Why We Like It

With its low mileage and what appears to be exceptionally clean cosmetics, this fairly rare Special Edition Prelude recently caught our eye. The SE was a one-year-only trim package that included leather-trimmed upholstery, a rear spoiler, anti-lock brakes, alloy wheels, and power windows and locks. It was offered with two-wheel steering only and it shared the same 2.3L VTEC four-cylinder found in the Si model, which sent 160 hp to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual.

This was the first Prelude model to have fixed headlights, and we like how the Sherwood Green finish looks black in certain lighting. We haven’t seen another fourth generation Prelude with under 65k miles, so it’s hard to comp this one to in terms of valuation, but for that reason alone we don’t think the seller is too far off on his asking price.
